Mood Media, a in-store media solutions provider, has appointed David Hoodis to serve as CEO, following the retirement of Steven Richards, former president and CEO. Hoodis has more than 30 years of experience in leadership and operations in the retail space, according to a press release.
Prior to joining Mood Media, Hoodis served as president of retail at IRI and vice president of software strategy and innovation at NCR, according to the release.
"David has spent his entire career at the intersection of retail and customer experience, which provides him with the insight and relationships to open doors and drive value for Mood Media across client verticals," said David Sambur, a member of Mood's board of directors, in the release. "I believe his decisive, results-driven approach and long history of developing successful growth strategies for technology-enabled businesses will make a very strong impact."
