Minneapolis church deploys LED video wall

Substance Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota recently teamed up with Reach Communications to deploy a Pixelflex LED video wall. The video wall is 47.5-feet wide by 11.5-feet tall and was deployed on the church's stage proscenium, according to a press release.

The church chose Pixelflex's LED video wall due to its high Hertz rate, which the church needed for streaming video. Reach Communications supplied the box truss, motors, motor control panel and rigging elements for the video wall. The church can use these tools to raise and lower the video wall.

"With our live streaming video, we can get down to about a 4-foot square on the LED video wall before we see any pixelation, which is a great zoom distance from where the cameras are positioned, and it looks great on camera," Adam Frey, technical director for Substance Church, said in the release.
