ZURICH, Switzerland — Minicom Digital Signage, a provider of "last mile" player-to-screen connectivity platforms for the digital signage marketplace, will display its award-winning DS Vision 3000 distribution system together with Rhombus Systems, a logistic project/process management company at booth number 920 at The Digital Signage Show taking place May 6-7, 2009 in Las Vegas.
A solution for real-time multimedia delivery, the DS Vision 3000 system distributes high-definition video, stereo-audio and serial signals from a single player, over CATx cable, to multiple plasma/LCD screens located up to 600m/2000ft away. DS Vision packs a three-in-one punch — audio and video broadcasting and serial management channels all in one box. Broadcasting is performed in high definition video at 1080p, 1920x1440@60Hz and a DDC protocol optimizes player-screen interaction for the best visual experience. DS Vision 3000 enables users to not only send a command but also query the screen and get a response.
Also at the show, Minicom will be presenting its new VGA Extender, a real-time, extension system able to transmit video up to 110m/360ft from one source to one screen or one source to two screens.
