Minicom forms new digital signage division

LINDEN, New Jersey — Minicom Advanced Systems announced the formation of a dedicated Digital Signage Division to be led by former vice president for North American sales, Dave Haar.

Minicom produces a range of digital signage distribution systems that narrowcast HD multimedia content from media players to multiple displays in real-time, over long distance and while providing centralized control of the screen network.

"While Minicom's main business remains firmly based within the KVM remote server management market we recognize the phenomenal growth of digital signage and the importance of dedicating special resources to maintaining and developing our qualitative edge in this market," said Saul Mishaan, president of Minicom, North America.

In parallel with this move, Rami Sasson, current vice president of business development, will become Minicom's new vice president of North American sales.
