Mimo Monitors recently partnered with Tanvas to launch its Mimo Vue touchscreen with TanvasTouch technology. The 10.1-inch touchscreen combines a Mimo Vue display with TanvasTouch surface haptics, programmable textures and feelings on flat surfaces, according to a press release.
With surface haptics, end users can program textures, edges, bumps and collisions that customers can feel when they touch the display.
"Sight and sound are often at the forefront, but touch is incredibly powerful for cultivating connection, creating immersion, or for building long-term brand affinity and recognition," David Anderson, president and CEO of Mimo Monitors, said in the release. "With more noise than ever competing for customer's attention, engagement, and mindshare, providing a rich touch experience is an impactful way to cut through the clutter."
