Mimo Monitors hoping displays will ease meeting room logistics

Mimo Monitors, a touchscreen display manufacturer, has launched Mimo Myst, a line of products to enhance conference rooms with convenience, visual appeal and simple installation, according to a company press release.

"With Mimo's combined expertise in creating reliable and premium conference room solutions, we set out to develop an entirely new generation of displays that provide an ideal offering, no matter the size, scale, architecture, or need of the conference room," David Anderson, president of Mimo Monitors, said in the release. "We believe that the displays included in the Mimo Myst family provide a comprehensive, seamless solution that will empower both the installers and end-users—elevating conference rooms through ease of installation, intuitive use, and cost-optimization by cutting the need for extenders, expensive installation, or ongoing IT."

Items include the Mimo Myst Link, Mimo Myst for Android, and Mimo Myst Capture — all 10.1-inch displays. Features, according to the release, include:

• The Mimo Myst Link: An AV over-IP display with HDMI allows for long-distance installations, up to 100 meters from the PC, without the need for extenders. The Myst Link is recognized by the PC as a regular display and increases conference room flexibility even after moving furniture throughout the room.
• The Mimo Myst for Android: One cable required for installation and no need for power at the table.
• The Mimo Myst Capture: Connects over USB and can be used for huddle rooms and other smaller spaces.

The Mimo Myst line is compatible with Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. All three displays are LCD panels and are available with a wall mount or swivel table mount. They also include a 2-year limited hardware warranty, according to the release.
