Milwaukee Bucks slam dunks with LED video system

February 27, 2017

The Milwaukee Bucks basketball team plans to upgrade its court with a 52-display LED system from Daktronics. The displays will function as a video system for the arena, according to a press release.

Daktronics will deploy 9,500 square feet of displays inside the building, along with a 24-display centerhung. The centerhung will have four main displays each measuring 25-feet high by 29-feet wide with 6-mm line spacing to offer high resolution images. The centerhung will also have underbelly displays for guests sitting near the front. Guests outside the arena will also be greeted by two large video displays on the corner of the arena and parking garage.

The main displays are compatible with content zoning so one display can show one large image, or it can be spilt up into multiple zones to show video, replays, statistics and more. The seating in the arena will also showcase a 360-degree ribbon display to show information on the game and sponsors.
