MilesTek intros waterproof HDMI cable assemblies

MilesTek, an Infinite Electronics brand, has released a series of waterproof HDMI cable assembleis for outdoor digital signage, medical and other harsh environments. These IP67 rated devices come with a waterproof coupler, according to a press release.

The cables can handle temperatures ranging from -11.2 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit and feature lanyard-attached dust caps to keep debris out of the connector when not in use. In addition to these cables, MilesTek also offers an IP67-rated HDMI panel-mount coupler that can be used with the HDMI cables.

"These rugged waterproof HDMI cables and coupler offer a perfect solution for customers who require HDMI connectivity in harsh environments often found in military, industrial computing and outdoor display applications," Mark Blackwood, product manager, MilesTek, said in the release. "These hard to find, IP67-rated HDMI cables and coupler are available off-the-shelf with no minimum order quantities."
