Meridian offers tech scholarships

Meridian, a kiosk and digital signage provider, is giving two technology scholarships for the 2019-2020 school year, according to a press release.

The first scholarship is for high school seniors planning to attend a North Carolina university in fall 2019. Applicants need to have a 3.0 GPA and must submit an essay about one of three technology-related prompts, according to the release.

The second scholarship is open for anyone enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university in a design-related field such as engineering, graphic design, graphic arts and product design. Applicants must submit an original design for a digital solution for their campus and an essay explaining how their solution will help the campus.

The deadline for all applications is April 19, according to the release.
