Meridian, a digital signage and kiosk provider, recently received the ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management systems. Advantage International gives this certification to companies that demonstrate high quality products that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements, according to a press release.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification requires organizations to be able to understand and address risks, as well as ensure their processes meet quality metrics such as customer focus, engagement, improvement, decision making and relationship management.
"To make the move to the most recent ISO standard for manufacturing, Meridian had to undergo a complete QMS makeover, introducing new methods such as risk and opportunity evaluation and leadership responsibility," Eryn Cameron, ISO quality manager, Meridian, said in the release. "Because Meridian is continuously improving, our customers can feel secure in knowing that we create quality products, that we have a well trained and knowledgeable staff, and that our goal is to always exceed their expectations."
