Medical image display company inks partnership to offer software LCD bundle

Wide, a medical image display manufacturer, has teamed up with QUBYX Software Technologies to integrate its display calibration and verification software with Wide's LCD displays, according to a press release.

This software, known as ezCAL is designed to allow radiologists to interpret images on their displays. The integrated solution provides a range of features including:

• A range of displays in color and grayscale;
• Built-in IQ Sensor;
• Remote display control;
• 1,700 cd/m2 brightness; and
• Compliance with latest standards.

"Our partner is known for their strength in the high technology industry, and we believe that the join-efforts do deliver greater image quality and security. The bundle does add value in medical imaging," Marc Leppla, CTO of QUBYX, said in the release.
