MediaTile launches Mediacast 4.0 digital signage delivery and management system

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. — MediaTile, a provider of cellular digital signage solutions, announced that it has released Mediacast 4.0, its fourth generation, SaaS-based digital signage content delivery and management system.
 
Mediacast 4.0 is designed to simplify the process of communicating across a digital signage network with greater relevance, impact and influence. A new visual user interface and drag-and-drop capabilities make it much easier to create relevant playlists comprised of multiple zones and dynamic feeds. In addition, the new system is now available for OEM port-ins on industry standard all-in-one displays, and media players that support cellular, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity options.

Mediacast 4.0 provides complete control over the media and messages delivered across a digital signage network. Users can deliver relevant content to the right place, at the right time, quickly, easily and securely. New features in the Mediacast System include:
  • A highly intuitive and visual interface with integrated video tutorials
  • Drag-and-drop multi-zone playlist creation with support for dynamic media
  • User definable links to external data sources and an extensible architecture
  • Online playlist previewing specific to each display
  • Visual and intelligent playlist scheduling   

The system is now also available as an independent offering to OEMs, solution providers, and for private branding and labeling solutions.
