Maysteel Industries LLC merges with Porter's Group

Maysteel Industries Llc., a provider of custom sheet metal enclosures for kiosks and digital signage and racks, is merging with Porter's Group, a custom metal fabricator. The combined company will have more than 1,000 employees with six manufacturing locations in the U.S. and Mexico, according to a press release.

"This merger creates a dynamic company and a much stronger competitor that responds to the needs of our customers and markets we serve.  With greater scale, improved market leadership, increased engineering expertise, complementary strengths and geographic reach we have a broader product base to offer our customers from locations where customers need us," Kevin Matkin, Maysteel CEO, said in the release. Matkin will serve as the CEO for the combined company as well.
