Maxhub unveils Re Mago, Lenovo hybrid meeting solution partnership

Maxhub, an LED display and communications firm, has announced its partnership with Re Mago Ltd. (formerly known as Valarea), which offers integrated meeting software in partnership with Lenovo, according to a press release.

The deal means that Re Mago's software solution for hybrid meetings, "Mago Rooms," will be made available via Maxhub display hardware, including commercial displays, interactive flat panel displays and LED video walls. The solution is slated to be released in select markets in mid-2023.

"The collaboration with Lenovo, Re Mago and Maxhub will bring the best technology from all sides and create the best user-centric solution. Bringing this technology together will ensure a high-quality meeting and collaboration experience for every meeting participant regardless of location," Sam Malik, VP of sales and marketing for Maxhub, said in the release.

"Maxhub and Mago Room software are more than just a Kiosk Launcher, digital canvas, interactive touch display, presentation device or video conferencing system," Cristiano Fumagelli, CTO at Re Mago Ltd., added in the release. "Combined with MAXHUB's cutting-edge display and interaction technologies, Mago takes meetings to the next level with the power to easily connect, co-create and collaborate. The superior visual collaboration lets teams generate ideas, work on prototypes with support for 3D objects, experience Mixed Reality during VC calls (without need of VR headsets) or solve problems on an intuitive interactive screen. The combined technological strength of Maxhub and Re Mago brings more innovation and creates more inspiring meetings and collaboration moments."

Room bundles announced in the release were named as:

• MAXHUB-IFP-Mago Room Bundles (IFP + Mago Room kit based on Lenovo)
• MAXHUB-UC-Mago Room Bundles (UC M40 Panoramic Camera + Mago Room Kit based on Lenovo)
• MAXHUB-LED-Mago Room Bundle (Raptor + Mago Room Kit)

Digital Signage Today also reached out to Maxhub via email for clarifications on the naming conventions related to Re Mago Ltd. and the partnership announcement.

"ReMago is the company, and Mago Room is the software name (Mago Rooms, Mago Apps or Mago Console). Mago Rooms creates a standard user interface for anyone in the office to use," Amie Fipps, marketing director at Maxhub, replied via email. "You can use a camera to join a meeting on any meeting platform, instead of logging into the Teams, Zoom or Webex app."
