Matrox intros controller appliance for video walls

Matrox has introduced its QuadHead2Go Q155 multi-monitor controller appliance. The device can power four full HD displays from a single 4K HDMI source for video walls, according to a press release.

The controller can handle video walls in two-by-two, two-by-one, three-by-one, four-by-one, one-by-two, one-by-three or one-by-four setups. Customers can combine multiple controllers to deploy larger video walls.

"The new Matrox QuadHead2Go Q155 controllers are a direct reflection of our ability to quickly and readily equip our customers with value-add tools and allow them to remain at the forefront of video wall innovation," Fadhl Al-Bayaty, business development manager, Matrox, said in the release. "As video wall designs continue to evolve, it is our goal to simplify the migration with feature-rich, easy-to-integrate building blocks. QuadHead2Go Q155 is a perfect example of that, enabling customers to seamlessly and successfully deploy next-generation video walls."

Customers can also use the Matrox PowerWall management software to configure and control the display outputs independently in online or offline mode.
