One Times Square, the site of the NYE Ball Drop, has deployed a 60-foot high by 36-foot wide digital display. The tower's owner Jamestown teamed up with Sherwood and New Tradition Media to place the display on the tower's north façade, according to a press release.
The LED display will showcase multiple advertisements in timed increments, including videos, animations, images and interactive content. The display will reach 1.6 million people daily.
"One Times Square is in the heart of New York City’s most iconic neighborhood,” Evan Richheimer, former managing partner at New Tradition, said in the release. "There is not a better location on Earth for brands to maximize their impact through advertising, and this state-of-the-art digital display gives them a world-class platform on which to do that."
