Madrid Stock Exchange invests in digital signage

The Madrid Stock Exchange has installed a new LED digital signage solution from Wavetec, according to a company announcement.

This project was a collaboration of Wavetec, Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, Telefónica and InfoBolsa and consists of a 19-meter, full-color ticker and uses Wavetec's Information Display Solution integrated with Madrid Stock Exchange's own data feed to show information such as stock rates, prices, shares, companies, news and other market statistical data.

Wavetec said the ticker also will be used in IPOs to ensure transparency.
