LSI Industries hires senior director of outdoor products

LSI Industries Inc., a manufacturer of lighting graphics and technology, has named Richard Abernethy as senior director of product management for outdoor products and controls. Prior to joining LSI, Abernethy was VP of commercial outdoor lighting at Hubbell Lighting, according to a press release.

In this role, Abernethy will work with LSI's engineering, sales, operations and marketing teams to help develop new products and manage its portfolio of outdoor lighting and control products.

"Richard Abernethy is a high-caliber professional with a long professional history of lighting program innovations. His talent for product development and his broad knowledge of the lighting and controls industry will be broadly welcomed by LSI’s customers," Scott Coleman, chief marketing officer, LSI, said in the release. "We're delighted to welcome Richard to the LSI team."
