Loyola University Chicago has selected Daktronics to provide 10 LED displays for its Gentile Arena. The company will also construct a centerhung ring display, measuring 4-feet high by 81-feet in circumference and featuring 10-millimeter line spacing, according to a press release.
Daktronics will mount a 10-feet high by 24-feet wide display on the east end of the arena. This main display will come with 6-millimeter line spacing for image clarity and contrast. Other displays include:
The end wall displays are built with content zoning to allow the arena to divide the display into multiple windows to show different content. Daktronics will provide the content produced by in its house digital content production team.
"The overall production of the end wall video displays combined with the unique ring display will provide a great atmosphere for the university and its fans. We're looking forward to seeing the completed installation this fall," Joey Hulsebus, sales representative, Daktronics, said in the release.
