KLFY-TV: The state is opening 33 "America's WETLAND" resource centers in South Louisiana, part of an effort to spread the word about the plight of Louisiana's vanishing coastline.
Yesterday, Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu officially opened one of the centers at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.
Each center features an interactive computerized kiosk and printed material about Louisiana's disappearing wetlands, as well as the state's birding trail that crosses 22 south Louisiana parishes.
