LG wins Architectural Innovation Award for display technology

LG Business Solutions USA has won the Architectural Technology Innovation Award from the American Institute of Architects, California for its display technology. The company recently deployed multiple displays at the AIA California office in Sacramento, according to a press release.

LG outfitted the office with multiple solutions including Ultra-Stretch displays, touchscreens and OLED wallpaper displays. The AIA gave LG the award during a virtual ceremony celebrating the installation.

"This award recognizes LG for their significant and meaningful contributions to the architectural profession in California, and for pushing the boundaries of display technology," Debra Gerod, president, AIA CA, said in the release. "On behalf of more than 11,000 architects and design professionals in the state, AIA California recognizes LG for innovative solutions like the Cableless LED and Transparent Signage, as well as its commitment as a partner to the architectural community."
