LG launches dynamic outdoor displays

LG Electronics USA Business Solutions recently unveiled its 49 and 55-inch LG XE4F outdoor displays. These displays are optimized for handling the elements and delivering dynamic digital content, according to a press release.

LG built the displays with an operating temperature range of -22 to 122-degrees Fahrenheit. They also feature a brightness of 4,000 nits, which the displays automatically adjust depending on ambient light. Other features include:

• IP56 certified for waterproof and weatherproof design.
• IK10 certified for external impacts.
• HDBaseT connectivity.
• Works with LG's webOS Signage 4.0 smart platform.
• Uses Quarter Wave Plate technology to deliver clear visibility even if user is wearing polarized glasses.

"Superb viewability in challenging outdoor conditions is first and foremost, but other things like replaceable glass, smart platforms, easy installation and reliability also are important to our customers."
