LG gains license for Independa video conferencing tech

Independa, a remote engagement and video conferencing solutions provider, has licensed its video conferencing technologies to LG Business Solutions USA. LG will use this technology for its commercial TVs and digital signage, according to a press release.

With this partnership, LG will be able to deliver video conferencing for a variety of hospitality and health care applications, such as helping patients have a video consultation with their doctors.

LG commercial TVs are widely recognized as the market leaders in healthcare and hospitality, and this agreement further extends our deep and long-standing partnership with LG," Kian Saneii, founder and CEO, Independa, said in the release. "Simplicity and ease of use are key factors in all Independa offerings, and LG partners and customers can now enjoy all the benefits of a simplified, fully integrated video conferencing experience on LG commercial TVs."
