Leyard and Planar partner with Lighthouse Technologies for sports digital signage

Leyard and Planar recently partnered with Lighthouse Technologies Inc. to offer digital signage for sports and entertainment venues in North America. Lighthouse Technologies will offer its LED video display technology alongside Leyard and Planar's fine-pitch LED and LCD products, according to a press release.

"We see this partnership as an extremely powerful strategic fit, leveraging the two companies' respective strengths," Peter Chan, managing director at Lighthouse, said in the release. "Lighthouse will deliver LED sports solutions to Leyard and Planar with strong back-end capabilities and innovative technologies. Leyard and Planar are the perfect partners to accelerate market growth and together we will create innovative technology showcases in the sports vertical for many years to come."
