Leyard and Planar intro LCD video wall system

Leyard and Planar have launched the third generation Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall System, which comes with improvements to video processing, installation, management and off-board electronics, according to a press release.

The solution features a thin LCD display, off-board video controller, electronics and power supply architecture and Leyard's WallDirector Software for video wall installation, management and monitoring. These components offer a variety of features including:

• The video controller can scale a single input beyond 6K resolution as well as multiple 4K signals.
• Remote power supply moves heat to a well-ventilated rack room.
• WallDirector software identifies display configuration, power supply quantities and source inputs for easier installation.

Clarity Matrix G3 also offers bezel width as small as 1.7 millimeters and comes in 46- and 55-inch models, according to the release.
