Legrand now shipping ceiling-recessed electric screen

Legrand recently launched its DescenderPro ceiling-recessed electric screen. It will be available in 16:9 and 16:10 formats in sizes ranging from 105 to 165-inches diagonal, according to a press release. It comes in four surface options: HD Progressive 0.9; HD Progressive 1.1; Da-Mat; and Matte White. Other features include:

1. 12-inch visible black drop for tensioned screens.
2. 2-inch visible black drop for non-tensioned screens.
3. Low voltage control and internal junction box.

"It is a compact-housing electric screen with a few upgraded features," Wendy Cox, director of product management, Legrand, said in the release. "For example, the sliding brackets featured on the DescenderPro are limited in comparison to the Advantage line, but still offer quite a bit of flexibility when installing into a ceiling."
