Absen Inc., an LED display company, recently partnered with several AV companies to help provide more than 850 pounds of non-perishable food and supplies to people affected by Hurricane Irma and Maria in South Florida, Key West and Puerto Rico. The hurricanes have caused hundreds of deaths and billions of dollars in damage, according to a press relase.
Absen partnered with Evolve Media Group, Orlando Production AV and Pro Sound & Video to help gather supplies such as canned soup, diapers and Gatorade. The company donated these items to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
"We are grateful to have sustained little damage to our Orlando headquarters," Allen Lu, president of Absen, said in the release. "However, we wanted to do what we could to help those who were not so lucky."
