Cypress, California-based audio and visual tech company Christie has launched a family of fixed zoom 1DLP laser projectors with three brightness levels that are specifically designed for small- to mid-sized areas like classrooms and boardrooms.
The Inspire Series brightness options include 6,000 lumens, 7,200 lumens and 8,100 ANSI lumens in a package that offers up to 20,000 hours of operation to 50% brightness, a news release said.
"The Inspire Series offers a winning combination of low-maintenance performance and value, without sacrificing advanced capabilities," Chris Kee, Christie executive director, enterprise product fevelopment, said in the release. "Motorized lenses offer easy zoom, focus and offset from the remote control, and our DWU960ST-iS 8100 ANSI lumen model is one of the brightest short throw projectors currently available."
The series works with its proprietary image-warping and blending software for up to six arrayed projectors and 81 grid control points. It's compatible with the company Mystique Lite automated camera-based alignment software for up to three Christie projectors. Mystique Lite is available for download at no additional cost.
