Lamar expands DOOH networks via Canada transportation

DOOH and media firm Lamar is expanding in Canada after signing transit deals in British Colombia and Ontario, according to a press release.

The deals include a five-year contract for street furniture advertising concession with the City of Kelowna and a five-year contract with Durham Region Transit in Ontario to provide bus and shelter advertising in Toronto CMA and Oshawa CMA.

"With these two new contracts, we are excited to continue our focused growth in transit and street furniture advertising across Canada," Andy Querin, executive sales director, Lamar Transit Advertising, said in the release. "The new Ontario inventory available in the growing market of the Durham Region and the expansion of our existing Kelowna offering with the addition of street furniture provide our clients with new and impactful ways to promote their advertising messages."
