L-com Global Connectivity intros waterproof HDMI cable assembles, panel

L-com Global Connectivity, a provider of wired and wireless connectivity solutions, has introduced a line of waterproof HDMI cable assembles and a HDMI panel mount coupler. The company built these cables for use in industrial computing, digital signage, factories, medical and other demanding A/V environments, according to a press release.

These cables prevent the ingress of water and other particles such as dust. They also support 4K and HD resolutions, and come with gold plated contacts.  

"Our waterproof HDMI cables and coupler offer a perfect solution for our customers who require HDMI connectivity in harsh environments often found in industrial computing and display applications. These unique IP67-rated interconnects are available off-the-shelf with no minimum order quantities," Brian Gates, product manager, L-com, said in the release.
