Kwik Stop, a U.S.-based convenience store operator, has partnered with Watchfire, an LED signage firm, to replace letterboards with digital signage in 27 convenience stores located in Nebraska and Colorado, according to a press release, with 23 installations already completed and the last four scheduled to be completed by the summer.
Installations include 4-foot by 6-foot 10mm outdoor signs, with some locations also installing Watchfire Price Watcher gas price signs. The signs were designed, sold and installed by Condon Signs, an integrator based in North Platte, Nebraska.
"Our old signs were an eye-sore and we worried that this could cause potential customers to skip a visit," Sean O'Neill, director of business development for Kwik Stop, said in the release. "Now, our signage is clean, modern and crisp. Our stores have great curb appeal."
The outdoor signs display a mix of promotional content and community-focused information. O'Neill manages content via the Watchfire OPx cloud CMS software, receiving content requests from store managers at a special email address and adding the requested content as part of his CMS management workflow.
"All I need to update our signs is an internet connection," O'Neill said in the release. "The signs are easy to update and are reliable. I wholeheartedly recommend them."
