LAS VEGAS — Keywest Technology today at Self Service Expo introduced the MediaXtreme-HD, a powerful yet affordable downstream media content server with a built-in 3-D DVE for on-air broadcast and cable TV use.
With the MediaXtreme-HD media server, users can pull back and shrink their main program output as well as playback pre-built animations, graphics and text. The system also includes data capture for easy retrieval and display of weather conditions, news and stock tickers.
The company also debuted the MediaXtreme-HDMI digital signage media server, which offers HDMI output to support the burgeoning number of HDMI displays and sources; MediaXtreme I3, a stand-alone software application for Windows XP computers that makes creating touchscreen user interfaces and controlling playback of interactive content quick and easy; MediaCreator II, the latest release of its popular character generator/digital signage page creation software application; and its Traffic Manager software option that transforms complicated management of a digital signage network into a streamlined, efficient enterprise under the control of a single operator.
