LENEXA, Kan. — Keywest Technology announced it has added the company's InstaCrawl software as a standard feature of the MediaXtreme media server.
InstaCrawl is an applet that turns a MediaXtreme digital signage network or community TV channel into an early warning/emergency announcement system. It operates securely on any PC and allows first responders and professional communicators to turn their information into timely warnings.
Previously, Keywest Technology sold InstaCrawl as a $495 single-license option. With today's announcement, the company has added InstaCrawl to the MediaXtreme at no additional charge.
InstaCrawl permits authorized users to easily create a text-crawl message by simply logging in, entering the desired message and pressing "Send." It eliminates the need to manually interrupt a playlist to publish an emergency message.
