Keywest adds 'hyperlocal weather' tool MyWeather

MyWeather screen shotKeywest Technology announced a partnership with Weather Central, providers of the MyWeather location-based weather service. The service will be available as an option on Keywest's MediaZone digital signage systems and legacy MediaXtreme MX5 systems.

MyWeather delivers "hyperlocal weather forecasts," based on either zip code or latitude/longitude coordinates. Weather radars are updated every six minutes.

"We are extremely pleased to be offering Weather Central's MyWeather solution to our digital signage and broadcast customers," said Nick Nichols, president of Keywest Technology, in a press release. "We believe Weather Central's highly regarded weather forecasts, radar and severe weather warnings as well as its broadcast-quality weather graphics are powerful additions to our digital signage and broadcast products and will help our customers grab the attention of their viewers with timely, relevant weather information."
