Key Digital rolls out HDMI HDBaseT extender kit

Key Digital recently introduced its KD-X444S extender kit to extend HDMI signals up to 18 GB per second through a single CATE5e/6. The low profile device is also HDCP2.2 compliant and supports the latest HDMI standards, according to a press release.

The KD-X444S can extend 4K resolutions at 4:4:4 with bandwidth up to 18 GB per second. It also supports a variety of audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master.

Other features include:

• IR and RS-232 support
• TMDS re-clocking and HDCP authentication
• Automatic adjustment of feedback, amplification and equalization.
