Key Digital intros 2 HDMI over IP transmitters

Key Digital has launched its KD-IP1080TX and KD-IP1080RX HDMI over IP transmitters and receivers. The devices are designed to help businesses build a video infrastructure, according to a press release.

Both devices are designed with support for power over Ethernet, so companies can carry power to them with a managed network switch. Other features include:

• Can connect up to 1,024 transmitters;
• HD can be transmitted over Ethernet at 15 Mbps;
• Signals can be sent up to 400 feet using a CATE5e, UTP or STP cable; and
• Components can be configured with software interface or with the free Key Digital app on iOS.

"We are excited to ship Enterprise AV over IP solutions, as we have developed an amazing Key Digital software app to use along with the hardware and deliver a turnkey solution for the dealers," Michael Lakhter, COO of Key Digital, said in the release.
