Key Digital expands line of HDMI switchers

Key Digital has introduced its KD-S2x1X and KD-S4x1X 4K/18G HDMI switchers. These switchers feature IR switching, status-motoring LEDs and they support HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and 4K, according to a press release.

Key Digital built the switchers to be able to connect multiple video sources to a single video display, while L/R analog and TOSlink Optical audio de-embed ports can feed audio of the source into amplifiers, DSPs, or sound bards. Other features include:

• Forced hot plug detection to allow integrator to decide if signal voltage should be forced to connect.
• Supports all SD, HD and VESA.
• Provided advanced EDID management options.
• Comes with full buffer system to manage TMDS re-clocking/signal re-generation.
