Key Digital adds digital wall-plate to offerings

Key Digital, a digital video and control systems provider, has introduced its KD-X3x1WUTx HDBaseT wall transmitter, universal presentation switcher and soft-code enabling interface. This device comes with one HDMI, one display port and one VGA as well as USB-A, USB-B and LAN connectivity, according to a press release.

This device can be natively received by Key Digital's KD-UPS52U Presentation Switcher or KD-X100MRx black box HDBaseT Rx. By integrating the wall transmitter with the Rx, users can control the display or monitor with power, volume and muting buttons. Customers can also use Key Digital's free KD-App to switch video source selection as well as manage a display or projector with CEC Manager technology.

Other features include:

• HDCP 2.2 compliant.
• Supports 4K at 4:4:4 with up to 18Gbps bandwidth.
• Can expand 4K signals up to 328-feet and 1080p up to 492-feet with a single CAT5e/6 cable.
• Fits in a US three-gang box.
• Can also extend USB 2.0, IR and RS-232.
