Kazakhstan gas company emphasizes digital signage in control room launch

KazMunayGas has partnered with Daktronics in the installation of a 4K LED video wall as part of the launch of its control and analysis center based in Astana, Kazakhstan, according to a press release.
The control room includes a triple 4K LED video wall that integrates with real-time data from across KMG's energy operations, with pixel spacing at 1.2 millimeters and a resolution of 2,160 by 11,520 pixels.
"Ultimately, this will allow us to further improve the efficiency of KMG's asset management by increasing the quality and transparency of real-time information," Magzum Mirzagaliyev, chairman of the management board at KazMunayGas, said in the release. "In addition, (the) CAC analytical system is integrated with the enterprise management information system at Pavlodar and Atyrau Refineries to enable online process monitoring of equipment status, supervisory control and material balance of products."
The system was installed by AG Tech Kazakhstan. "I am sure that even bigger projects and installations of Daktronics equipment in Kazakhstan are ahead of us," Alexander Podvalov, CEO of AG Tech Kazakhstan, said in the release.
