JFK Airport unveils digital flight information display

April 24, 2017

John F. Kennedy International Airport has deployed a NanoLumens Nixel Series LED video board in Terminal 4. This two-sided, 30-foot by 10-foot display is designed to show flight arrival times, advertising and other information, according to a press release.

The display is powered by NanoLumen's Aware display management platform, and displays weather, news, time and advertisements alongside flight information. The Nixel Series offers pixel pitches as low as 2.5-mm, according to the release.

"JFK Terminal 4 joins a growing list of major airports around the world that have turned to NanoLumens for a truly unique digital display solution that immediately engages travelers and allows for clear and concise communication of the kinds of information travelers need in order to continue on their journeys," Nate Remmes, vice president of marketing and business development, NanoLumens, said in the release.
