JCDecaux launches advertising platform at Changi Airport

December 12, 2018

JCDecaux Singapore, a subsidiary of outdoor advertiser JCDecaux, has launched its Digital Duty-Free Totem advertising platform at Changi Airport. It consists of multiple L-shaped floor-to-ceiling HD LED displays and dynamic content, according to a press release.

The displays, which are placed on totems, green departing travelers after they have passed through immigration. The LED displays are 3-meters tall by 4-meters wide and feature a 2.5-millimeter pixel pitch, according to the release.

"We are happy to create another key touchpoint for brands to explore innovative possibilities as part of an integrated suite of solutions to communicate with travellers along their airport journey," Evlyn Yang, managing director at JCDecaux said in the release. "We have long anticipated the arrival of these Digital Duty-Free Totems to augment JCDecaux's integrated solutions as we believe that this will garner high awareness for advertisers, starting with prestigious beauty brands, Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté, that have come on board for the launch."
