JCDecaux recently celebrated the installation of the 500th digital screen on the Transport for London bus shelter network. The company plans to transform London into a global showcase for DOOH technology, according to a press release.
JCDecaux synchronized its digital screens last year to increase the effectiveness and impact of its Oxford Street network. The company uses its Smart Content management system to push out contextual, socially integrated campaigns across its digital signage network.
"London is a global hub and we take great pride in the strength of our digital proposition," Jean-Francois Decaux, co-chief executive officer, said in the release. "We are at the forefront of the digital transformation in out-of-home advertising in one of the most powerful and influential cities in the world. The partnership with TfL has been essential to achieving our vision of a global digital showcase."
