HiTrust SRL, a firm specializing in information security from Pescara in central Italy, has installed a central control room in Pescara featuring a digital signage video wall comprising 46-inch LCD displays from German digital signage display and video wall solutions manufacturer eyevis, according to an announcement from eyevis.

The company's surveilled IT structures and security situations are displayed centrally and in real time on the more than 9-meter-square video wall made up of eyevis EYE-LCD-4600-SN-V2 displays. Using the video wall, a dozen operators manage network structures and monitor access rates, network utilization and storage capacities around the clock in order to react quickly and in a coordinated fashion to fend off cyber attacks, the announcement said. Also, network management tasks can be performed centrally.

The eyevis LCDs also offer a reliable technology for the secure display of all incoming data with a high brightness of 500cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 3000:1 offering high image quality even in bright ambient light, the company said. An automatic ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness to the ambient light, saving electricity in darker hours with automatic dimming. Additional features to prevent image sticking were incorporated into the displays because they frequently display static content, the company said.
