ISE: Philips Public Signage introduces slim commercial 65-inch display

MMD, the new entity behind Philips branded displays, has announced the availability of a 1.2 –inch thick public display within its public signage range of 65-inch widescreen displays. According to a press release, the Philips BDL6551V, "displays communications messages in a stylish way."
Philips is expanding its existing public signage product range of FHD high brightness slim displays. The company says the LCD display is only 3.1 cm (1.22-inches) thick, which is half the size, on average, of the industry average bezel in its category.
