Intermedia Touch providing wayfinding tech for eMerge Americas conference

Intermedia Touch, a Gold Sponsor of the eMerge Americas conference, is providing custom wayfinding and general information software for 21 kiosks located throughout the convention center for the conference, the company announced.

Intermedia Touch, a Gold Sponsor of the eMerge Americas conference, is providing custom wayfinding and general information software for 21 kiosks located throughout the convention center for the conference, the company announced.

The new software is designed to be interactive and informative, displaying details about events taking place during the conference and providing attendees with biographical information on the eMerge speakers scheduled throughout the conference, alongside an agenda that lists the time and location of professional presentations.

The wayfinding kiosks will feature news feeds scrolling across the top of each kiosk and live video feeds from around the convention center, so "the community involved in the conference will never miss a beat," the company said.

"From its inception, we wanted eMerge Americas to be an experience or, like we say, 'not your typical conference or trade show,'" said David Añón, vice president of marketing at eMerge, in the announcement. "What better way to keep attendees informed and engaged than through convenient interactive wayfinding devices located throughout the expo floor. With so much content and the need for on-site flexibility, we looked for solutions that could meet the task."

Intermedia Touch is providing the wayfinding application for the conference, and also is attending the show at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience several Intermedia Touch products, such as Interactive Video Wall, Digital Display Case, Interactive Floor and several kiosks. All hardware presented by Intermedia Touch will be demonstrating custom content developed in house.
