Insight, Intel hold $150K tech makeover contest

Insight Enterprises, an IT services provider, has partnered with Intel to provide a $150,000 Connected Workplace Makeover Contest to award three organizations each with $50,000 worth of Intel technology upgrades. This contest is aimed at small and mid-sized businesses that have struggled to stay up-to-date on technology, according to a press release.

The winners will be chosen in the categories of productivity, security and total cost of ownership, which include tools such as remote workers and collaboration tools, 10th Gen Intel Core vPro processor PCs with enhanced security and the latest Intel Core processors, according to the release.

"The lifeblood of any organization is its IT, especially in the current climate as every business has had to think more like a technology business and go more digital to connect with their workers and customers. Our past contest entries have struck similar notes of just how many companies contend with the drawbacks of outdated technology and how they've struggled to keep their heads above water because of it," Brenda Hudson, VP, Insight Sales, Sales Enableme Learning and Development, Insight, said in the release. "The Connected Workplace Makeover Contest shows what new technology can do to help organizations run smarter."

Insight will announce the winners in November and will accept entries until Sept. 30.
