ETOBICOKE, Ontario — Rise Vision Inc., a provider of a Web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has announced that Ingram Micro Canada will start to sell the Rise Display Network to its reseller channels in Canada. Ingram Micro already distributes the Rise Display Network via its reseller channels throughout the United States. "The Rise Vision software solution provides a very user-friendly package and allows system integrators the ability to incorporate this into customized media boxes," said John Henderson, director, Consumer Electronics/Digital Signage, Ingram Micro Canada. "We are excited to add this product to our line card and look forward to introducing Rise Vision to our Digital Signage reseller community."
The Rise Display Network is a web-based, Software-as-a-Service content management system operated by Rise Vision. Subscriptions include access to live content such as news headlines, local weather, sports scores, and stock ticker updates. Users incorporate this live content with their own information, including movies, graphics and text, and publish it directly to their network of digital signs.
"Ingram Micro is a strong partner for Rise Vision, and we are pleased to expand our relationship to the Canadian marketplace," said Ron Levac, president, Rise Vision Inc. "Ingram Micro is a leader in the technology marketplace, and we look forward to working more closely with the company as we develop new features and enhancements for our digital signage software solution, as well as creating new ways to help our partners sell."
