ViewSonic Corp. unveiled its thin ePoster digital kiosk at this week's InfoComm13 in Orlando, Fla. The company said the 42-inch full HD ep4220 enhances retail and information signage locations.
For all-in-one functionality, the digital kiosk display includes a built-in media player as well as support for an external X86 or RISC media player or PC using the standard HDMI and VGA inputs.
The display can be connected to a corporate network via a networked media player for easy message management in heavily frequented areas, according to the news release.
"Our vast lineup of digital signage kiosks offer a unique compilation of features, such as single-sided, double-sided, multiple screen sizes, ultra-thin and touch interactivity," said Gene Ornstead, director of product marketing at ViewSonic. "Whether the need is retail advertising, wayfinding, informational display or public boards in areas of high visibility, these free-standing displays provide customers with the exact digital advertising offering to suit their needs."
The ep4220 will be available in North America in late June at an estimated price of $1,999.
