ORLANDO, Fla. — AccelerOptics will unveil an expansion of its family of CAPTURET Projection Displays for the education and corporate markets. The front projection display systems are designed to be visible in high ambient light applications such as day-lit classrooms and college lecture halls, cafeterias, corporate boardrooms, training rooms and similar environments. The lightweight 16:10 systems, available in 72-, 84- and 92-inch screen sizes, also double as electronic white boards.
The new AccelerOptics systems were developed in response to integrator requests for large-scale, front projection display systems which operate in strong ambient light and are compatible with computer presentation aspect ratios. The systems feature the company's patented CAPTURE screens which are optically engineered surfaces with complex optics molded inside. CAPTURE screens' durable surfaces reflect light in specific patterns instead of filtering it. The gain is increased by a factor of five, compared to standard matte finished screens without center-line hotspotting or contrast loss.
