Infinitus expands digital signage lineup with 75-inch outdoor displays

EU-based outdoor LCD provider Infinitus has expanded its digital signage display lineup with seven new products based on its 75-inch LCD panel with 2,500 nit brightness and 5.000:1 contrast ratio, the company announced.

EU-based outdoor LCD provider Infinitus has expanded its digital signage display lineup with seven new products based on its 75-inch LCD panel with 2,500 nit brightness and 5,000:1 contrast ratio, the company announced.

Infinitus said in the announcement that, due to the displays' "attractive price/quality ratio" the displays should be very appealing for digital out-of-home advertising and other projects demanding largest-format LCD panels. The systems can act independently or be integrated into other structures. The displays are already available and will be showcased at ISE 2015 in Amsterdam, the company said.

End-users can choose between imotionG6 and imotionFLOW technologies, both made to minimize after-purchase maintenance costs through advanced automatic call-on-site functionality, which summons owners to a location only when attention is needed and eliminates the need for regular maintenance, the company said.

Advanced HVAC-based imotionG6 units have a three-year default warranty and are available in portrait/landscape and single/double side formats. These systems feature the capacity to create constant "perfect" inner enclosure conditions of 20-25°C (68-77°F) to deliver peak operation and long life, the company said. The displays also feature a minimal bezel size of 90mm and a 12mm glass-to-display distance.

The imotionFLOW ventilation cooled systems will be available in three options: freestanding portrait, single side, and wall-mounted portrait and landscape with bezel sizes of 100mm and a 16mm glass-to-display distance. As opposed to imotionG6, these displays operate from -40° to +55°C (-40° to +131°F), and are intended for direct sun-exposed public areas within the range of -25° to +40°C (77° to 104°F).

The imotion FLOW product line uses high on-surface temperature-resistant LCD panels (up to 110°C, or 230°F) and guarantees integrated components to safely operate within warranted operation temperature ranges, never exceeding 50°C (122°F) within the enclosure.

Also, the system is designed to recognize when air filters need to be cleaned or changed and to send automatic notifications. The imotionFLOW digital signs are intended for use in milder climates, integrated solutions such as kiosks or in-wall integration, and, due to their light structure, in portable and rental applications.
